Bill Maxey founded Media Design in 1989 after managing one of Houston’s first independent electronics stores. Over the thirty plus years, he has assembled an extremely talented group, many that have been with the company for decades.

Since the company’s inception, Media Design has been recognized for their commitment to innovative design and exceptional service. Under Bill’s leadership, Media Design has been honored with multiple accolades from organizations such as CEDIA, CE Pro, as well as many vendors. Bill is honored to have previously served as Education Dean for CEDIA and continues to serve on the Ethics Committee.

Bill refers to himself as a purveyor of puns, and more reclusive than J D Salinger on a rainy day. Amateur photographer and (even more) amateur cook, Bill is happily married to Kirste with a menagerie of dogs and cats.

Mark has spent most of his professional career in the audio/visual industry. He came to Media Design after 9 years in retail, selling home audio and TV’s for Houston based Home Entertainment, Inc.

As Chief Operating Officer at Media Design Inc. with 18 years of experience in the custom electronics integration scene, Mark approaches every single opportunity as a long-term relationship, properly manages expectations, and always delivers on what is promised. He prides himself in his ability to take complicated needs and design a practical and functional solution that his clients enjoy using. Mark is a PADI certified Scuba Diver who enjoys traveling the world, when not in some far-flung destination, you can find him closer to home on the Texas backroads carving curves or wrenching on his sports car.

Stan Clark is an industry veteran with over 40 years’ experience in audio/video, custom installation, and control systems. His career began with sales and management positions at a high-end A/V business in Tulsa, OK and then sales and tech support responsibilities with Texas high-end loudspeaker manufacturer Duntech Audio Labs. A move brought him to Houston to manage stores for Home Entertainment and The Groove Audio Video, where he became heavily involved in the custom installation business. Next came 10 years as a principal of an manufacturers’ rep firm specializing in the A/V business. He joined Media Design in 2012 to get back to his passion – designing and selling high performance audio video and control systems.

When not working, Stan enjoys spending time with family, traveling, listening to music, reading, movies, and working on projects around the house.

Casper Green started his journey in the electronics industry several decades ago and is highly experienced with Savant, Lutron and a host of other systems.

Being a bit of a tinkerer himself, Casper enjoys the challenge that complex installations present along with the opportunity to build partnerships with others while exceeding client expectations.

In his free time, Casper enjoys bike riding and spending time with his wife Emily and their children.

Scott began his career in the electronics industry almost two decades ago progressing into state-of-the-art systems integration for luxury homes. Extremely self-driven and focused on the minute details, his relentless work ethic brings unprecedented quality control to our many projects.

Scott is also a professional musician along with his singer-songwriter wife. Married for twenty-three years, their band has toured all over the world and he continues to perform in his spare time at venues in Houston and throughout Texas.
